**My new friend the Kangaroo**
We arrived in Mooloolaba yesterday afternoon and spent the day at the beach and checking out the town. It's really nice here, not too big, but bigger than Byron Bay. Today we went to the Steve Irwin Australia Zoo. It was fantastic! They say that this zoo is the best in the world and I can definitely see why. It was like walking through a conservation area with trees and wildlife covering the whole place. We saw all kinds of alligators, crocs, snakes, kangaroos & tigers, etc. The Kangaroo's were amazing because we could go up to them and pet them & take our pictures with them. They were all pretty friendly. The Tiger cage was amazing too because it was just a piece of glass between us and the tigers and they put their faces up to the glass.. we were face to face! gorgeous! We are going to stay in Mooloolaba for another couple of nights to surf & tan!
